Who this is for

Recorded in Ogden, Utah, with people who mostly are not used to being recorded.

Most of the people who come on this show have said something out loud here for the first time. You are probably listening alone in a car on the way to work, which is where most of it lands anyway.

Sleep, food, movement, and the boring structure that holds a week together.

About Jed

Jed Nilson recording the podcast Fig. 01 · Ogden, Utah · Season one

Jed runs a homebuilding company in Utah that his father started.

He spent years putting up houses for other people while his own life quietly came apart. Getting sober was the first thing he had ever built that nobody could see, and it took longer than any project he had ever run.

Now he goes looking for what actually works and records the conversations. Practitioners, teachers, and people further along than he is. He is an aspiring yogi, which he will tell you is mostly aspiring.

08 / NOTES

General notes

Every set carries them. Read these before you take anything here as instruction.

01

This is not a treatment programme and it is not medical advice. If you are in danger, call someone qualified before you finish this sentence.

02

You do not have to be sober to listen. A lot of people here are still deciding, and that counts as being in it.

03

Every practice in the schedule was tested on one person. That is a sample size of one, and it is worth saying out loud.

04

Episodes release Tuesdays at 06:00 Mountain. Transcripts follow within a day and are free to everyone.

05

Nothing here is sponsored. The Circle pays for production, which is the whole reason there are no ads in season one.

06

Corrections are welcome and get published. If he got something wrong on tape it goes in the revision table below.
